Adventureland’s Helping Hands Foundation Invites Non-Profit Organizations to Participate in 2026 Pumpkin Park
Deadline to apply for a table is September 1st
Adventureland, Long Island’s iconic amusement park, offering family fun for everyone since 1962, is excited to announce that for the first time ever its Helping Hands Foundation will be sponsoring the annual Pumpkin Park event from 11am-5pm on Halloween, Saturday, 10/31/26. This year Long Island non-profit organizations are invited to apply to participate by hosting a table along “Sweet Street” and giving out candy to Adventureland goers.
“For over 35 years, our annual Pumpkin Park Halloween event has become an extremely popular family-friendly way for visitors of all ages to get into the Halloween spirit and go Trick-or-Treating along “Sweet Street” in the park,” said Jeanine Gentile-Pacella, Adventureland’s Helping Hands Foundation Spokeswoman. “This year we are creating a wonderful high visibility opportunity for Long Island’s non-profit organizations to be part of this annual tradition and connect with local families to share their message about what they do.”
The annual event draws in over three-thousand visitors per year.
Up to 15 non-profits will be selected to participate, each receiving brand recognition throughout the event, complimentary tickets to the event, candy to hand out to trick or treaters, as well as a $1,000 donation from Adventureland’s Helping Hands Foundation.
- Nonprofits can apply to host a table on Sweet Street starting 6/1/2026 and ending 9/1/2026
- Nonprofits must:
- Serve the LI community
- Have 501c3 status and be able to provide a W9
- Must have access to a branded tent or tablecloth or 2×4 sign
- Be available on 10/31/26 from 9am-5:30pm to host their table (and if needed, the rain date 11/1)
- Selected nonprofits will be notified by 9/14/2026 and must:
- Must provide a logo for the treat sheet
- Must have a promotional item/information to give out
- They will be given candy for the trick or treaters
- They will be given 2 family four packs for Pumpkin Park (8 tickets) + up to 6 vendor passes
- They will be issued a $1,000 donation from Adventureland’s Helping Hands Foundation after the event (issued the week of 11/2)
